Jim Casey is a partner whose practice focuses on labor and employment law, litigation, and mediation. He represents employers in discrimination, civil rights, and non-compete matters and regularly advises clients on personnel policies and workplace compliance.
Jim also serves as a neutral in alternative dispute resolution proceedings, having mediated or arbitrated more than 800 cases throughout Indiana and Kentucky since 1992. He was appointed by the Indiana Supreme Court to its Working Group on Commercial Courts and is consistently recognized among the top labor and employment attorneys in the region.
Jim earned his undergraduate degree from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and his law degree from the Indiana University School of Law. He has received multiple honors, including the EBA Pro Bono Award, the Doran Perdue Service Award, and repeated recognition in The Best Lawyers in America, where he was named “Lawyer of the Year” in Employment Law – Management for Evansville in 2023 and 2025.
Jim is a Certified Civil Mediator since 1992 serving in over 800 mediations.
