Cliff Whitehead is a partner known for handling high-stakes litigation where trial is expected, not avoided. He represents businesses, municipalities, and public institutions in complex disputes involving breaches of contract, employment, education, and regulatory authority. Cliff litigates with a trial-first mindset and has taken jury and bench trials through verdict in state and federal courts.

Cliff currently serves as attorney for Warrick County and the Warrick County School Corporation and represents public and private clients across the Midwest. His practice focuses on disputes carrying significant legal exposure, public scrutiny, and political consequence, where credibility in the courtroom and decisiveness under pressure determine outcomes.

Before entering private practice, Cliff served as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Indianapolis and as a Deputy Prosecutor for Marion County, experience that forged a disciplined, courtroom-driven litigation posture.

Cliff has been recognized by The Indiana Lawyer as one of Indiana’s “Up and Coming Lawyers.” He earned his undergraduate degree from Boston University and his law degree, cum laude, from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He is a former President of the Evansville Bar Association.
